A true pioneer in the dynamic world of food and beverage, born and raised amidst the bustling streets of downtown New York City, Joshua's culinary odyssey spans over three decades.

From the heart of New York to Miami, he has been responsible for the success of some of the most legendary institutions that have etched themselves into the city's restaurant and nightlife lore. He has resurrected the illustrious Studio 54, introduced the super-exclusive Veruca Ultra lounge, launched the first high-volume cocktail bar, Pravda, operated the over-the-top mega nightclub, Float, and spearheaded the celebrity-studded restaurants Café Tabac and The Park. Additionally, he played a pivotal role in the opening of the Standard Hotel—just a glimpse of his portfolio.

But what sets Joshua apart is not just the venues he's opened; it's the legendary mentors he's collaborated with. Picture the likes of Keith McNally of Balthazar fame, Andre Balaz of The Standard Hotel, and Eric Goode of The Bowery Bar and the Maritime Hotel. Working alongside these luminaries in his early career was his ultimate learning experience, fueling his passion and igniting his creative fire.

Rooted in the culinary tradition, Joshua's journey began under the mentorship of his New York French-trained chef father, immersing him in the inner sanctums of the New York City's top kitchens. With unwavering dedication, he climbed every rung of the industry ladder, embracing every role in every facet of the business.

In 2011, Joshua ventured into Asia as the Director of Worldwide Operations for the Pangaea Group. His mission was to expand the brand's global footprint. In the vibrant heart of Singapore, he unveiled a western boutique nightclub, and the result was nothing short of spectacular. Pangaea skyrocketed to become the highest grossing nightclub per square foot in the world and he continued to lead the charge, spearheading the brand's growth in New Delhi and Manila before moving on to his next adventure in 2014, founding of his own company, SJS Group.

Joshua is an expert of conceptualization, coordination, and the art of unveiling international food and beverage destinations. He prides himself on elevating service and pushing the envelope of creative concepts. With several inspiring concepts already under his belt in Singapore, India, and the Philippines, Joshua has proven time and again his ability to adapt to local tastes while staying true to the essence of each project's original vision.

In the most recent chapter of his global career, Joshua founded SJS Group where he's brought to life a series of concepts. From the pulsating high-energy of Bang Bang Nightclub, the sophisticated allure of LuLu's Lounge, the super successful high-volume of Employees Only cocktail bar, and the artisanal expertise of Pasta Bar. He's brought traditional Mexican cuisine to Singapore with three sensational outposts of Papi's Tacos and the highly anticipated Paelet Cocktail Bar.

A trailblazer with a global vision, he's set to redefine the future of food and beverage, one concept at a time.

Joshua holds many accolades and certificates including Beefeater Gin Best Bartender in America 1998 and a Certification from the American Sommelier Association. Joshua prides himself on bringing 5-Star service and a sense of fun and exploration to all his projects.  ​
